Posting Guidelines

All images must be accompanied with relevant information. Do not post an image without any text please, taking the time to tell us about the images is important. 

Do not post your work at an angle or only in a decorative setting. 

 

Ideally posts should be accompanied with at least 7 images as outlined below – 

A straight on view accompanied by 3 or 4 details shots.

Post images looking up and down the angle/axis of the script.

Post a straight on / plan and an upside-down shot. 

 

If possible, post with the grid under the work as well as without the grid, this will assist in understanding your accuracy to the grid.

 

Ensure your images are well lit and in focus, please double check the focus. 

 

Post all your images either as a new post, a comment or as a reply depending on nature of the post.

As a general rule of thumb, I will take photos with my phone, add text to it and post via the app. You cannot edit using the app, you must be logged in via a browser for this. That means, to change orientation, delete images, change text, the app will not work. I only really use the app to see what is going on in the community.

 

You must only post your own work. If you are posting someone else’s work, you must get permission from them and leave a detailed comment as to why you are posting the work, saying ‘I like this’ is unacceptable. 

 

Do not post promotional material, you will be deleted.

 

If you produce a post with ‘I think the group will like this’ being all you have to say, you will be deleted.
