The October challenge is to create a monogram. Monograms are a lovely way to be creative with your letters whilst continuing to hone your craft.
DETAILS
- The choice of initial is up to you: you can use your own initials, your partner’s, parents, you and your partner’s initials – whatever you would like!
- You can choose 2 or even 3 letters, this again is up to you.
- You only need to make one, but you can create as many as you’d like, depending on time constraints and/or skill level. How many styles and iterations can you create?
This Challenge is a little different: at the end of the challenge we will collectively vote and pick 5 posts; I will then run a community class, similar to the subscriber Office Hours, where I will work through the monograms and outline how to improve upon them. We will announce how to vote later on in the month once there are images to choose from.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Click the link below to post your work and look at everyone else’s lovely work. I have kicked off the challenge with my own monogram practice.
